HM the King Offers Condolences to Egyptian Pres. Following Terror Attack on Mosque

HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to Egyptian president, Abdelfattah Al-Sissi, following the terror attack that targeted, Friday, worshippers of a mosque in Al-Arish.

In this message, the Sovereign expressed to the Egyptian president, in his name and on behalf of the Moroccan people, strong condemnation of this cowardly criminal act, which targeted the faithful in flagrant violation of the sacredness of places of worship, reiterating to the Egyptian leader his full solidarity with the brotherly Egyptian people in this difficult time, as well as the constant adherence of the Kingdom of Morocco to international efforts to combat all forms of odious terrorism that is contrary to the precepts of the Islamic religion and universal human values.

HM the King extended to president Al-Sissi, to the grieving families and Egyptian people, his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion.

The Sovereign also asked God to give patience and comfort to the victims' relatives, and swift recovery to the wounded.
