HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, following the "abject terrorist" attack in Mubi that claims several lives.

In this message, HM the King expressed to president Buhari, to all the bereaved families and the brotherly Nigerian people, his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion.

The Sovereign also wished the victims' families patience and comfort, and the wounded prompt recovery.

HM the King expressed Morocco’s firm condemnation of this cowardly criminal act, which is contrary to the precepts of Islam and universal human values, reiterating his full solidarity with the Nigerian people in this time of grief.
