Pedagogy of Diversity at Heart of Modernity of Our Society (Azoulay)

Ifrane - "After the recent introduction of textbooks dealing with the richness of all our diversities, Morocco has crossed another historical threshold with the establishment of an inclusive master's degree dedicated to Arab-Muslim, Amazigh and Jewish civilizations," said André Azoulay at the opening of a symposium organized by the University Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah (USMBA) of Fez on the occasion of the launch of the first Master on Arab-Muslim, Amazigh and Jewish convergences.

"By reappropriating with lucidity, respect and determination the history of civilizations that have enriched it over the millennia, Morocco gives full legitimacy to the ethical and universal citizenship to which our society aspires," said the Advisor to His Majesty the King and president-founder of the Essaouira-Mogador Association.

"Carried by the enlightened and visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and strengthened by a growing national consensus, we move forward with serenity and determination by reaffirming the centrality of this pedagogy rooted in the lessons of our experience and our history," added Azoulay, highlighting "the fabulous melting pot of civilizations and cultures that is now at the heart of the uniqueness and modernity of our society".

For HM the King's Advisor, "this collective reappropriation is the foundation of the unity of our people, a unity even stronger when it expands to the wealth of all our diversities”.
