Doha - The 10th edition of the FIFA Arab Football, organized in Qatar until December 18, kicked off Tuesday in Doha.

The opening ceremony, held at the Al Bayt stadium, built in the form of a traditional Arab tent, was marked by the presence of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad, FIFA president Gianni Infantino, and Arab personalities.

The Al Bayt stadium, with a capacity of 60,000 seats, was fully open to the public during this ceremony, which was enhanced by musical performances and a fireworks show, as well as a presentation on the history of the Arab region.

After the opening ceremony, spectators will attend a game between the host country and Bahrain in Group B, which also includes Iraq and Oman.

The tournament brings together 16 teams divided into four groups. Matches will be held in six stadiums that will host the 2022 World Cup.
