Part of the national healthy housing program, this project, to be carried out with a budget of 330 million dirhams, illustrates the constant care of HM the King for the middle class and for limited income households, by enabling them to have access to decent housing at profitable conditions.
Carried out by Al-Omrane group, the Ibn Khaldoun housing compound will give a strong impulse to the policy to fight unhealthy housing and will contribute to the housing offer diversification and the emergence of new urban poles in the prefecture.
Extending over 38,833 m2, the integrated project will also comprise 107 housing units with a low-real estate value, 212 housing units for middle class persons and 44 shops.
The Ibn Khaldoun project is part of the low-cost housing development program, which features 44 projects, some 62,660 low-cost housing units and 259 proximity facilities.
To date, a total of 19 projects, comprising 34,793 low-cost housing units were carried out as part of the program. Another 14 projets (15,794 units) are underway and 11 projects (12.073 units) are in the pipeline.
This ambitious program will help reduce the housing deficit in the prefecture, accompany the urban economic and demographic dynamism of the city of Tangiers.
