According to a press release from the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, for the closing of the 2019-2020 season and the preparation for the 2020-2021 school year, the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion will schedule examinations for qualification levels in a single year and of specialization in the month of November 2020, in addition to the continuation of revision courses remotely, from September 7, for the benefit of the trainees concerned.
For other public training sectors which have not been able to carry out practical work for certain branches, training and practical courses will be compensated by distance work in the disciplines allowing it, noted the same source, adding that for specializations requiring training, trainees will be organized in small groups so that they can catch up on practical work in person.
Regarding the private vocational training sector, the ministry noted that all levels of training will be evaluated as of September, adding that in-person review sessions will be organized for courses provided remotely.
In addition, in-person remedial sessions will be held for the benefit of trainees who have not been able to complete the training program, notably on a practical level during the month of September, before taking the exams and the continuous assessment, while ensuring the organization of these sessions in small groups, in accordance with the health measures and procedures, the statement added.
As part of the preparation for the 2020-2021 school year, the ministry indicated that registration will continue remotely, provided that each training body adopts a simple procedure for the final approval of registrations, adding that a hybrid training model will also be adopted (remotely and in-person) and that training bodies and vocational training establishments will be able to take the necessary measures to implement this formula under the best conditions.
The ministry recalled the possibility of adapting the educational model at any stage of the 2020-2021 school year, depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Morocco.
