The new toll of confirmed cases brings to 97,264 the number of contaminations in the Kingdom since the first case reported on March 2 and to 76,690 that of fully recovered people, that is a recovery rate of 78.8%, the ministry said in its daily Covid-19 report.
The number of deaths rose to 1,755, with 41 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, a case fatality rate of 1.8%, according to the same source.
These deaths are distributed between the regions of Marrakech-Safi (11), Casablanca-Settat (11), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (5), Souss-Massa (4), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (3), Fez-Meknes (3), Béni Mallal-Khénifra (2), the eastern region (1) and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (1).
The new cases are distributed between the regions of Casablanca-Settat (1.101), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (401), Marrakech-Safi (295), Souss-Massa (169), Drâa-Tafilalet (162), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (151), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (116), the eastern region (115), Fez-Meknès (109), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (70), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (62) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (9).
The number of excluded cases stands at 2,245,043, after 21,033 new negative analyzes.
The active cases reached the number of 18,819, with a prevalence of 51.8/100,000 inhabitants. Regarding severe or critical cases, there are 264, including 41 intubated people.
The cumulative incidence rate is 267.8/100,000 inhabitants, against an incidence of 24 hours established at 7.6/100,000 inhabitants.
