During his meeting with the chairman of the Libyan High Council of State, Khaled Al Mechri, and the delegation accompanying him, Benchamach renewed the Kingdom's permanent readiness to support the brotherly Libyan people to overcome the delicate transition stage that it is going through so that it can achieve its aspirations in building a democratic, united and unified State and preserving the national sovereignty of the country as well as its territorial integrity.
For his part, Al Mechri highlighted the importance of the role played by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, in supporting the Libyan Dialogue, under the supervision of the United Nations, says a statement from the Upper House.
The two parties affirmed the readiness of the two institutions to launch institutional cooperation at all levels and in all areas of common parliamentary interest, according to the same source.
