The speaker called for raising the distinguished relations between the two countries to the level of strategic partnership, stressing that Asia and Africa are two emerging continents and that Morocco and Indonesia can work together to consolidate bilateral economic, commercial and agricultural exchanges.
Welcoming the deep-rooted friendly relations between the two countries, the Indonesian diplomat said that this year will be marked by the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The Indonesian people have known Morocco for many centuries thanks to the traveler Ibn Battuta who visited the region, and thanks to Moroccan preachers who helped spread the call of Islam and present its authentic image as a religion of tolerance and moderation, Azwar said.

The two parties agreed to consolidate cooperation between the two legislative institutions and strengthen the exchange of visits between members of the two Parliaments to contribute to strengthening friendly ties and reinforce bilateral coordination and solidarity.
