In a press release, the National Police (DGSN) said that the search operation led to arresting the individuals inside a villa used as a casino, with no authorization, and containing gambling equipment and alcoholic beverages for customers.
The search resulted in the seizure of large sums of money in national and foreign currency, bottles of alcoholic beverages, as well as equipment used for gambling, said the DGSN.
Two French nationals, managing the buidling, four Senegalese employees and three Moroccans, one of whom is wanted at the national level, were remanded in police custody, the statement said, adding that the rest of the customers were subjected to a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office to elucidate the ins and outs of this case.
