This royal donation came to mend the wound of Lebanon, said on Monday Wahba, during a meeting with the ambassador of Morocco in Beirut M'hammed Grine.
He also highlighted the constant support and solicitude of HM the King for Lebanon, recalling in this regard the important humanitarian aid that his country received from Morocco following the explosion of the port of Beirut last August.
The minister also welcomed the setting up, under the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, of the military field hospital in central Beirut, which "provided medical services to the wounded and to all the inhabitants of the capital".
This royal donation drew the attention of various Lebanese media outlets, including newspapers, television channels, radio stations and electronic news sites.
The last batch of food aid sent, on the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), to the Lebanese armed forces and people, arrived Tuesday on board two Moroccan military planes at the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut.
