This agreement, signed on the sidelines of the 2nd Moroccan-Spanish forum (March 20-21) under the theme "Living together", aims to deepen cooperation relations between the ministry and the Foundation, with a view to bringing them closer and achieving coexistence for the Moroccan community established in Spain in general, and in Andalusia in particular, the director of this institution José Manuel Cervera told MAP.

The goal is to make progress in the integration of Moroccans living in Andalusia and to promote their identity, he noted, adding that integration does not mean exclusion.

Cervera recalled the need to work for the benefit of a good balance to attain a peaceful coexistence, noting that "the Foundation is actively working to make the new Morocco known and recognized".

The organization of this 2nd edition of the forum, which brings together senior officials, diplomats, university professors, experts and civil society actors, reflects the interest by the Kingdoms of Morocco and Spain in the migratory phenomenon in all its dimensions, and the willingness to strengthen the framework of partnership and exemplary cooperation between the two countries.
