Morocco’s Net International Reserves Down 14.9%

Morocco's net international reserves amounted to 205.3 billion dirhams until August 4, 2017, recording a 14.9 pc year-on-year decrease, Bank Al-Maghrib said.

During the week of August 3-9, Bank Al-Maghrib injected 71.2 billion dirhams.

As for the interbank rate, it remained at 2.3%, while the average trading volume decreased from 5.4 billion dirhams one week before to 3.5 billion dirhams, the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators.

During the same period, the Dirham appreciated by 0.25% against the Euro and depreciated by 0.42% against the dollar.
