During this meeting, Sajid said that the two countries have built strong bridges to strengthen their links in a number of areas, expressing the hope that this momentum will continue to grow in the coming years.

For his part, the Hungarian official stressed that relations between Hungary and Morocco have been constantly evolving in recent years in the fields of trade, agriculture, culture, sport and tourism, adding that two countries regularly hold high-level meetings, the latest of which is the third session of the Morocco-Hungary Joint Economic Commission, held last November in Rabat.

He recalled that his country had already opened a credit line for businessmen in both countries to the tune of 600 million dollars to promote investment and economic cooperation between Morocco and Hungary.

The minister added that the new air line between Budapest and the cities of Marrakech and Agadir will increase the flow of tourists and give new impetus to economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

During these talks, the two ministers also tackled several issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to further strengthen trade relations and economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the sectors of investment, tourism and industry.

Sajid, who is currently on a working visit to Hungary, had previously inaugurated the Moroccan stand at the Budapest Tourism and Travel Fair. Morocco was chosen this year as guest of honor.
