Morocco Participates for First Time in Ghana International Trade Fair

The 22nd edition of the Ghana International Trade Fair opened on Wednesday in Accra under the theme “Industrialising Ghana, Creating Jobs”, with the participation of more than twenty countries, including Morocco which takes part for the first time in the event.

Organized by the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE), the Moroccan stand spans over 100 m2 and showcases products made by several Moroccan companies in the areas of electricity, construction, water and irrigation.

Morocco’s participation in the 22nd Ghana International Trade Fair is aimed at strengthening relations between Morocco and Ghana and building fruitful partnerships between operators from the two countries, Hassan Nasr from the AMDIE told MAP.

The event provides the opportunity to inform Ghanaian operators of the investment opportunities offered by the Kingdom in several areas of activity, he added.

The event, which will run through March 7, brings together 600 exhibitors.
