Inked by MAP director general, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, and Marita Group head, Rahhal Boulgoute, this MoU will enable the implementation of the IMC project, which will host the activities of media professionals by offering them high added value services.

It also aims to establish a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), or a cooperation agreement, which will guide the work of both parties to this project.

As part of this partnership, MAP will support this project through its advice, expertise, various studies, professional representation and decision-making assistance, while the Holding Company will support the Agency in its development by setting up and hosting its offices and services within the IMC, in order to offer the best service to the national and international media that will be installed there.

Through this cooperation, the two parties agree to set up a working group responsible for drawing up the PPP partnership project or the cooperation agreement, which will meet at least once a month to define the expected general objective, the specific goals, the obligations of each party, the activities, the means to be implemented or mobilized, the deadlines or the monitoring indicators.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, which took place in the presence of a U.S delegation from the Washington National Press Club (NPC), partner of the IMC project, Hachimi Idrissi gave an overview of MAP, its activities and various services, adding that the IMC project is meant to "install international standards in the press profession with a policy of openness and training of journalists".

It is important to create a structure in Africa and the Arab world dedicated to the media that corresponds to international standards in this area, he said, highlighting the willingness to initiate a process of interaction with renowned expertise in favor of upgrading the Moroccan press.
