Royal Navy Helps 397 Would-be Immigrants in Mediterranean and Atlantic

The Royal Navy assisted, on Oct 27-29, 397 would-be immigrants who were on board several inflatable boats facing difficulties in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, said a military source.

382 would-be immigrants were brought safe and sound to the ports of Tangiers, Al Hoceima and M'diq, while 15 others, rescued on Monday morning off Moulay Bousselham, were transported to the port of Casablanca.

The boat of the last group, which set sail on Oct. 25, was facing difficulties due to engine failure, the same source added.
