In a statement released on Tuesday, the DGSN said that this video, whose broadcasters claim originates from a neighborhood in Rabat, was taken very seriously by the national security services, which carried out technical expertise by analyzing technological impacts.

According to the expertise, it turned out that the video was filmed abroad, precisely in Brazil last February, the DGSN said, noting that Brazilian media, including TV channels, had devoted numerous reports and articles to this crime.

While reiterating their denial of the allegations about this recording, the national security services informed the public opinion that they are taking steps to combat all forms of crime and phenomena aimed at undermining citizens' sense of security, including fabricated images and recordings.

This video recording shows three individuals physically assaulting two women and one infant while stealing a black 4x4 car belonging to one of the victims, accompanied by false and misleading comments claiming that the incident took place in a neighborhood of Rabat.
