During this meeting, both sides stressed the importance of injecting new impetus to the partnership between Morocco and Romania.

Bourita also met with the first Vice-President of the Romanian Parliament, Corina Cretu.

This meeting was an opportunity to highlight the importance of consolidating relations between the legislative institutions of the two countries with the aim of supporting the Moroccan-Romanian partnership.

Bourita's talks with the two Romanian officials were an opportunity to reiterate Romania's support for the process of renewing cooperation instruments between Morocco and the European Union.

Bourita's visit to Bucharest is the second leg of a tour that began on Tuesday in the Balkan region with the aim of diversifying the Kingdom's partners within the European continent.

After Belgrade and Bucharest, Bourita will visit Sofia, Bulgaria.
