Morocco, Bangladesh Express Willingness to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Head of government, Saad Eddine El Othmani, and Bangladeshi Foreign minister, Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, held, Wednesday in Rabat, a meeting during which they expressed their common willingness to give new impetus to cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, the two officials commended the level of friendly relations between Morocco and Bangladesh, and expressed their common desire to revive bilateral cooperation in different areas, particularly in sectors that offer significant opportunities for partnership, said a statement by the head of government's office.

In this regard, El Othmani and Mahmood Ali stressed the need to intensify the exchange of visits between the officials of both countries and to build successful partnerships between businessmen in promising sectors, the statement noted.

The two parties also discussed the level of coordination in international fora and the prospects opened up as part of the new Morocco-Bangladesh political dialogue framework.

The Bangladeshi Foreign minister also expressed his country's thanks for the humanitarian aids sent upon the instructions of HM King Mohammed VI to deal with the influx of Rohingya refugees on its territory, the statement concluded.
