Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, left Morocco on Wednesday after a two-day working and friendship visit.

At the Rabat-Salé Airport, Medvedev and his accompanying delegation were seen off by head of Government, Saad Eddine El Othmani.

Medvedev reviewed a military detachment that paid the honors before being greeted by minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, minister of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Boussaid, minister of Energy, Mining and Sustainable Development, Aziz Rabbah, minister of Culture and Communication, Mohamed El Aaraj, and several civilian and military figures.

During his visit in the Kingdom, Medvedev held talks with several Moroccan officials, including head of government Saad Eddine El Othmani, Speaker of the House of Advisors (upper house) Hakim Benchamach and Speaker of the House of Representatives (lower house), Habib El Malki.

Several cooperation agreements were signed between Morocco and Russia on this occasion. These agreements touch on bolstering customs, agricultural, military, diplomatic, administrative, commercial and cultural cooperation and also cover energy efficiency, renewable energy and nuclear energy peaceful use. 

An enlarged working meeting was also held between Moroccan and Russian senior officials.

During the visit, Medvedev led a large delegation made up of several members of the government, businessmen and senior officials.
