Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Receives Heads of Official Delegations, Instructs Minister of Tourism to Convey his Greetings to HM the King

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Ibn Abdelaziz Al-Saud, received on Wednesday in Mina the heads of official delegations that performed Pilgrimage rituals this year, including Mohamed Sajid, Minister of Tourism, Air Transportation, Handicraft and Social Economy, head of the Moroccan delegation.

Following the annual reception held at the Royal Court at Mina Palace, which brought together heads of state, Islamic dignitaries, guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, guests of government bodies and heads of delegations and pilgrim affairs offices, Sajid told MAP that he had conveyed to the Saudi King the fraternal greetings of HM King Mohammed VI, as well as the thanks and esteem of the Sovereign for the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to enable pilgrims perform Hajj rituals in the best conditions.

He added that he also extended to the Saudi monarch an invitation from HM the King to pay a visit to Morocco.

The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques instructed Sajid to convey his greetings and esteem to HM the King and the Moroccan people, while lauding the ties of fraternity between the two royal families and the solidity of historical relations between the two peoples.

Speaking at the reception, the Saudi King said that God has honored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with serving the Two Holy Mosques, taking care of their visitors and protecting the visitors' safety and comfort.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given the Two Holy Mosques all the care and attention since it was founded by late King Abdulaziz until today, King Salman Ibn Abdelaziz Al-Saud pointed out.

Saudi Arabia affirms its firm stance to fight terrorism and extremism, eradicate their forms and manifestations, adhere to the noble message of Islam and ensure security and stability in the region and the whole world, the Saudi monarch added.
