"We are very impressed by the content of this Royal message that touched us and calls upon us all," Majesty Essombey Ness told MAP on the sidelines of the launch of this campaign by HRH Princess Lalla Meryem.

"I want to assure HRH Princess Lalla Meryem that the African traditional authorities attending the Africities summit will also be involved in sharing Her Highness’s vision and make sure that this campaign is implemented in all African countries," he added.

"The African traditional authorities are extremely happy with the support of HM King Mohammed VI, when our Association was created in Marrakech in 2016,” Majesty Essombey Ness said, recalling that it is thanks to HM the King’s support that "we changed the name of the association."

The traditional authorities of Africa are infinitely grateful to HM King Mohammed VI, Majesty  Essombey Ness added, while stressing that "our actions would not have been as brilliant as they are," without the support of the Sovereign and His implication.
