The aid was transported by 12 large trucks from an airport in Cairo to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing.

Royal Armed Forces’ medical delegations who will manage a field hospital in Gaza were transported to the Palestinian city through buses.

The reception of this aid was supervised by Morocco’s ambassador to Egypt, Ahmed Tazi, and members of the Moroccan Embassy.

A total of 16 Moroccan military aircrafts carried the humanitarian aid from Morocco to an airport in Cairo.

This operation includes the setting up of a field hospital of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Gaza, the delivery of 5,000 blankets, 25 tons of essential medicines, as well as foodstuff (113 tons) by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.

This action testifies to the natural and historical solidarity of HM the King and the Moroccan people towards the Palestinian populations.

On May 29, HM King Mohammed VI personally chaired, supervised and kicked off at Casablanca’s international airport the operation to deliver humanitarian aid to the brotherly Palestinian people.
