This humanitarian donation, which is part of the Kingdom's solidarity with brotherly and friendly countries and which aims to meet the needs of local populations during the month of Ramadan and Eid al fitr (Korité), was given to the head of state of Guinea-Bissau by the ambassador of Morocco in Bissau with residence in Dakar Taleb Barrada.

This commendable royal action is part of the logistical and humanitarian support of Morocco to Guinea-Bissau and the strengthening of long-standing relations of friendship, fraternity and solidarity with this country of West Africa.

The relations between the two countries had witnessed a particular impetus with the historic visit made by HM King Mohammed VI in May 2015 to Guinea-Bissau.

During this royal visit placed under the theme of African solidarity and South-South cooperation, HM the King visited the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) field hospital set up in Bissau.

This important medical facility had provided quality healthcare in various specialities to the local population, notably cardiology, dermatology, pulmonology, traumatology, general and internal medicine, paediatrics, neurology, gynaecology, dentistry, ophthalmology and ENT.
