Morocco, Tunisia Ink Executive Program on Judiciary Cooperation

Justice minister Mohamed Aujjar and his Tunisian peer Ghazi Jribi signed, Thursday in Tunis, an Executive Program on Judiciary Cooperation between Morocco and Tunisia for 2018-2019.

The executive program provides for the visit to Morocco by senior officials from the Tunisian Ministry of Justice to inquire about the Moroccan legal system and the court management system, in addition to the judiciary administration and electronic justice.

It also provides for visits of officials from the Moroccan Ministry of Justice to Tunis to learn about the management system of the Judiciary Administration in Tunisia and the reform program of the judiciary system and prisons.

The program lays also provisions for the organization of a joint workshop of experts from both countries on the evaluation of international judiciary cooperation mechanisms in the resolution of transnational conflicts and the fight against organized crime and corruption in the two countries.
