Morocco, UAE Ink MoU to Improve Skills of Human Resources

Morocco and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed, Monday in Dubai, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to improve the skills of human resources.

The MoU was signed by deputy minister for Administration and Public Service Reform, Mohammed Benabdelkader and Emirati minister of Higher Education and Advanced skills, Ahmad Bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, on the margins of the eighth Human Resources International Conference.

Under this agreement, both parties agree to set up joint programmes, particularly on the promotion of institutional culture, professional conducts, the upholding of management principle based on functions and skills, the integrated management of human resources and the development of human capital skills and training.

The signing of this MoU reflects the importance given by both parties to the administration's fundamental role in field of economic and social development, and takes place in accordance with the framework protocol of cooperation linking both countries in the area of Public Service, signed on January 19, 2011 in Abu Dhabi. It also testifies to the common will to develop a spirit of partnership, mutual aid and cooperation in human capital development.

Furthermore, this agreement aspires to set up a framework for cooperation and exchange between the two parties with a view to reforming the Public Administration and strengthening its human resources management and development capacities.
