Palestinian Health Ministry: FAR Medical-Surgical Field Hospital in Gaza is an Act of Solidarity with Palestinians

Gaza   -
The setting up of the medical-surgical field hospital by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in the Gaza Strip, and the provision of humanitarian aids are noble acts of solidarity with Palestinians, said Monday the Palestinian Health Ministry.

In a statement to the Moroccan News Agency (MAP), Gaza's Health Ministry spokesperson, Achraf Alkodra, said that this field hospital is a sign of solidarity and support to Palestinians who face difficult humanitarian conditions, worsened by the 12-year long Israeli blockade.

He added that Morocco's continuous humanitarian support confirms that Moroccans: King, government, and people stand by their Palestinian brothers in their militancy to get their legitimate right to independence, noting that the field hospital will help to relieve the pains of patients and casualties, and reinforce health services in Gaza.

In this respect, the Palestinian official thanked Morocco for responding favorably to the humanitarian needs of Palestinians.

He complained that following the Israeli blockade and the increasing number of casualties and martyrs, the health sector in Gaza was in a difficult situation. The lack of medicines and medical equipment had reached 50 percent, Alkodra lamented, calling on other Arab countries to help Palestinians have convenient healthcare services.
