Morocco, Cote d'Ivoire Sign Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Sport

Morocco and Cote d'Ivoire signed, on Friday in Rabat, an agreement in the field of sport aimed at strengthening relations of cooperation and friendship between both countries through a series of activities and programs.

The five-year agreement, which is part of the promotion of South-South cooperation relations advocated by HM King Mohammed VI, was signed by minister of Youth and Sports, Rachid Talbi Alami, and his Ivorian peer, François Albert Amichia.

Under this agreement, the two countries will notably contribute to the preparation of their national teams by the organization in Morocco and Cote d'Ivoire of trainings and friendly competitions.

This agreement also aims to strengthen the mutual participation of sportsmen in the various events and competitions organized in both countries, the exchange of experiences and information in the areas of management and administration of sports facilities, sport medicine, the fight against doping and violence in stadiums, as well as the organization of sports events.
