71 Sub-Saharans Rescued Off the Coast of Tangier by Royal Marine

Fighting units of the Royal Marine rescued on Tuesday 71 illegal immigrants from Sub-Saharan Africa, including 13 women, off the coast of Tangier in two separate operations, a military source said.

Following the tragic accident that took place last Saturday in Tangier between a freight train and a staff transport vehicle, causing six deaths and 14 injuries, the public prosecutor at the first instance court of Tangier announced the opening of a judicial enquiry in order to determine the causes and the circumstances of this accident, including the degree of guarantee of the required safety conditions at level crossings.
