In this message, the Sovereign said he learned with deep sorrow the news of the passing of the distinguished artist Mahmoud El Idrissi, praying the Almighty to have the deceased in his mercy.
In this painful circumstance, HM the King expresses to the members of the family of the deceased, his relatives, his friends, his fans as well as his great artistic family his deep condolences and his sincere feelings of compassion following the death of one of the pioneers of Moroccan song, who contributed for decades to enriching the varied musical repertoire with an authentic discography imbued with a sincere love for his country and its beautiful legacy, as well as a strong attachment to the constants of the Nation.

The Sovereign prays God to grant the family of Mahmoud El Idrissi patience and comfort, to reward the deceased for his great contribution to art and to his country and to welcome him in his vast paradise.
