The FAR General Staff said on Friday in a statement that this person was admitted to the military service, as were the 15,000 conscripts constituting the 36th contingent, adding he has completed his basic training at the Recruitment Center and Initial Training in Kasbah Tadla and his specialization in masonry at an engineering unit located in Mediouna.
During his basic training, as he claimed to suffer from backache, he was sent several times to Rabat's Mohammed V Military Hospital of Instruction for thorough medical examinations, said the same source. Results have revealed after-effects of trauma prior to his admission to military service.
In addition, the former conscript has also received support for psychological pathologies, the statement said.
In spite of the former conscript's statements being unfounded, an investigation has been initiated by the relevant services of the Royal Armed Forces to shed light on these allegations, the same source concluded.
