HM the King Undergoes Surgery at Quinze-Vingt Ophthalmology Hospital in Paris
Paris - HM King Mohammed VI underwent, on Wednesday, a surgery at the Quinze-Vingt Ophthalmology Hospital Center in Paris, at the ward of Professor Jean Philippe Nordmann, said a statement co-signed by Professor Nordmann, head of department, and Professor Abdelaziz Maaouni, HM the King's personal physician.
HM the King had a pterygium in the left eye that was growing over the cornea, a condition requiring a full resection of the tissue and a 15-day convalescence for the eye to heal.
