Speaking to reporters following his talks with Speaker of the Moroccan House of Advisors (upper house), Hakim Benchamach, Al Mechri stressed that the first meeting held in Bouznika helped bring the Libyan crisis out of stagnation, noting that the world now evokes dialogues in different countries, in Geneva, Cairo and Tunis.
The Libyan official also noted that the aim of this visit is to affirm and implement the resolutions of the Bouznika meeting, as well as to thank Morocco for its support to the Libyans so as to find solutions.
This visit, which takes place following the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Advisers, is also intended to conduct discussions on how to implement these resolutions.
"We receive all the necessary support from Morocco and we thank them for everything they have provided us with in order to end the institutional division and the political impasse," he said.
