In a statement, this Libyan institution also welcomed the agreement to hold a meeting of the House of Representatives in the city of Ghadames (740 km southwest of Tripoli) and the operation of implementation of the necessary measures to end division.
The High Council of State stressed that the meeting of the House of Representatives is a sine qua non condition to end division and unify institutions, calling on the members of the Libyan House of Representatives to increase efforts and promote the role of this institution so that it can fulfill its constitutional obligations, interact positively with the results of the dialogue and to work in coordination with the High Council of State in order to take the necessary measures to resolve crises, prepare for elections and restore stability in the country.
The consultative meeting of the Libyan House of Representatives ended with an agreement to hold a meeting of the Lower House in the city of Ghadames, immediately after its members return to Libya.

In Tangier, participants expressed their determination to move forward to end conflicts and division within all institutions, and to preserve the country's unity and sovereignty over all its territory.
They also expressed their full readiness to interact positively with all the results of the dialogue process, in accordance with the constitutional declaration, its modifications and the Libyan Political Agreement, welcoming all the positive advances made through the Commission 5 + 5.
They also affirmed their commitment to hold presidential and parliamentary elections within a constitutional framework, and to end the transition period as quickly as possible, so as not to exceed one year after the holding of the meeting of the House of Representatives.
