In that regard, the newspaper outlined the approach adopted by Morocco in the management of the epidemic as well as the measures taken in the framework of the next Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
Morocco "has focused its priority on the African continent, becoming an undisputed leader," wrote the newspaper, recalling that during the pandemic "it has supplied several African countries with medical equipment and built the largest field hospital in Africa."
Morocco under the leadership of HM the King, "will, therefore, today not only be among the first to have the Chinese Sinopharma vaccine (...) but will also become the platform on which the vaccine will initially be manufactured. Then it will be produced and finally distributed in African countries," "La Repubblica" underlined.
The newspaper also noted that compared to other countries in the region, Morocco "has one of the most dynamic pharmaceutical industries on the African continent, allowing it to aspire to manufacture a vaccine, not only for its domestic supply but also for export to the continent."
This makes Morocco "an ideal platform for a vaccine that goes to all of Africa, and this can only open up new perspectives," the publication concluded.
