In a statement to the press after a meeting with the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, Correia e Silva reaffirmed the support of his country to the territorial integrity of Morocco and the Moroccan autonomy plan, recalling on this occasion the opening of a consulate in Dakhla in August 2022.
"These are strong signals of our commitment to the development of friendly relations and win-win relations with the Kingdom, in terms of cooperation and attraction of investment and tourism," he added.
Referring to a "new era" of relations between Morocco and the Republic of Cabo Verde, Correia e Silva stressed the willingness of his country to strengthen political, diplomatic and economic relations with the Kingdom.
Morocco and the Republic of Cabo Verde held, Tuesday in Rabat, the second session of the great joint commission co-chaired by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both countries.
On this occasion, nine cooperation agreements covering many areas were signed.
The two countries also held the second joint commission in the field of fisheries.
