The new mosque, the biggest in the Tadla-Azilal region, was built over a surface area of 18,415 square meters for an amount of over 23 million dirhams, funded by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The mosque, which can seat 3,000 believers, was constructed in accordance with the Moroccan authentic architecture standards. It includes all services necessary for the believers and the mosque's employees.
The project, whose building works were launched by the sovereign on April 4, 2008, is in line with the state's policy related to the construction of mosques under a program adjusted to meet the needs of believers and ensure a harmonious division of worship sites across the Kingdom.
