The national epidemiological watch and surveillance system follows all the news and information related to the deadly virus, he pointed out, noting that Morocco was among the first countries to prepare to face this pandemic.
After the proclamation of the health emergency and the closing of borders, the Kingdom experienced a transition of infections, he said, noting that local infections are now the most dominant ones.
The minister also mentioned the different stages of the spread of Covid-19 in Morocco, stressing that the large urban agglomerations are the worst-hit places, particularly the regions of Casablanca-Settat, Marrakech-Safi, Fez-Meknes and Rabat-Salé-Kenitra.
