The creation of this service will make it possible to offer, to officials and residents of these establishments, accompaniment and psychological support through the electronic platform PSY - DGAPR - COVID19 , developed for this purpose with experts who have expressed their mobilization in this humanitarian and solidarity action, said the general Delegation in a statement.
On this basis, and given the nature of the field of work and the specific security features of the sector, this service will enable employees who so wish to obtain advice and recommendations to overcome some of the psychological effects associated with the current situation, the DGAPR added, specifying that the central unit for the psychological accompaniment and support of officials will provide this service in coordination with the psychological experts in charge of the said electronic platform.
In the same context and as part of the strengthening of protection measures for detainees during this period, the DGAPR highlighted the mobilization of all psychologists and social workers within prison establishments to offer various forms of socio-psychological support to inmates, in continuous coordination and cooperation with the psychological experts in charge of the electronic platform, in order to respond to their psychological questions and concerns, the statement concluded.
