During her participation in a video conference meeting, on the occasion of the launch of the initiative of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) "Societies we want", El Moussali said that the repercussions of the spread of the coronavirus have affirmed that the true strength of societies and States lies not only in the material standard of living of peoples and that of industrial progress and the promotion of democracy, but also in the strength of social systems and the level of social cohesion.
"This strength also lies in the dissemination of the values of solidarity and collective awareness, in the level of confidence of peoples in their countries and their policies, and in the readiness of citizens to respect these policies and the various measures taken by the authorities in their favor, in exceptional circumstances," she said.
In this regard, the minister outlined the various proactive measures taken by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, to address the potential risks of covid-19 and contain this pandemic.
El Moussali also highlighted the various urgent measures and procedures to protect vulnerable categories, including children in social welfare institutions, street children, persons with disabilities, women and girls in difficult situations and the elderly in social care facilities.
