In a report published Sunday, the delegate ministry indicated that its services have worked since the beginning of the health crisis to increase the vigilance of communication through the creation of a monitoring and guidance unit with a permanent team responsible for answering the various questions of Moroccan expatriates and guide them, and this since March 16, 2020, stating that this body has received until June 19, 3,659 messages on its website and Facebook page.
Most of these correspondences relate to anything concerning the consequences of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, added the same source, specifying that the majority of these correspondences (98%) were answered, while the rest of the questions concerned requests for the transfer of remains or information on administrative procedures.
Most of the requests received were of particular interest to European countries, led by France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands, the ministry said.
