The initiative of HM the King, who has always favored cooperation between the countries of the South through the exchange of experiences, aid for investment and the construction of common areas for social, cultural, economic and political exchanges, is part of this South-South cooperation which has always been at the heart of Morocco's foreign policy, said Rahhou in an interview with the European weekly "New Europe".
"With African countries, there is an additional dimension of fraternity and very close proximity, which means that Morocco is always sensitive to what is happening in these countries, especially in difficult times," added the Ambassador who recalled the various past experiences testifying to the solidarity of Morocco, whenever necessary, to the friendly African countries.
In this particular phase of the general pandemic, he noted that the Moroccan experience, under the leadership of HM the King, in the management of the epidemic shows that there is "a know-how" by Morocco today, as well as the medical equipment provided by the national pharmaceutical industry for these friendly countries.
In this interview, the ambassador discussed in particular the significant development of the Moroccan pharmaceutical industry which covers today almost 80% of the country's needs, in terms of drugs, supported by a fairly dynamic health policy with hospitals and private clinics.
