Speaking at the monthly session dedicated to general policy issues at the parliament, El Otmani stressed that these talks take place in the wake of the two agreements signed with two vaccine producers, as part of the preventive measures adopted by the Kingdom in accordance with the royal guidelines to curb the spread of the pandemic.
The government is determined to make available a safe and effective vaccine available to ensure that Morocco is among the first countries to acquire it, he added.
El Otmani, who noted that it is difficult to set a date for the marketing of a COVID-A9 vaccine, expressed the wish to see such a medical solution available by the end of the current year or at the beginning of next year.
