At the beginning of its proceedings, the council, to be held at 10:30 a.m., will follow the examination of the bill on the legal use of cannabis, said Monday a statement by the Department of the Head of Government.
The Council will subsequently examine three draft decrees, the first of which relates to the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory in order to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and the second relates to the application of certain provisions of the first annex of the Dahir forming the Maritime Trade Code on maritime fishing vessels, the statement noted.
The third draft decree deals with the application of the law on the protection of persons participating in biomedical research, added the same source.
The Council will also examine the cooperation agreement in the field of tourism, concluded on October 22, 2020 in Rabat between the Moroccan and Central African governments, the statement said.
The Council will conclude its proceedings by examining proposals for appointments to high office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement underlined.
